After having developed a children's educational project that was launched in 2018, we worked out a course for the Professions and Technologies of the Future Academy.
On April 7, the first lesson of the Academy was held at the Kinetics engineering center on the basis of the National University of Science and Technology MISiS. Located on the university campus, the Kinetics center is the most advanced and high-tech platform in Russia, which makes it possible to invent and create sophisticated technical models and prototypes thanks to highly complex cutting-edge equipment.
The topic of the lesson was “Futurology: Visions of the Future”. For children and their parents, a lecture on innovations and professions of the future was held along with a unique tour of the center, which was conducted by its founder and director, industrial designer Vladimir Pirozhkov.
Young children enthusiastically assembled robots at a master class under the guidance of Sergey Rykov, head of the R&D Department of the Polytechnical Museum.
“After having launched the School of Financial Literacy last year, we received strong feedback – interest in the activities of the children themselves and gratitude from their parents. This year we have developed a program for the Professions and Technologies of the Future Academy. The program is designed for an audience of teenagers 15-17 years old. Experts invited from leading Russian companies will tell their pupils about artificial intelligence, blockchain, augmented reality and other hot topics that are gaining popularity in such a rapidly evolving world.
For Gazprombank Private Banking, children's educational projects offer a sure-fire way to build customer loyalty and another platform for communication with them,” said Sergey Potapeyko, Vice President and Head of the Private Banking Department.
The program is comprised of seven modules, classes will last until June 2 and will be held both directly at Gazprombank and on our partner sites.
