May 15, 2019, Tomsk — Gazprombank served as a general partner of the U-NOVUS 2019 Forum of Innovations. The event, which kicked off in the “student capital of Russia,” is aimed at the strengthening of interaction between the younger generation and representatives of large companies for the purposes of the digital transformation of the region’s economy and social sphere. The U-NOVUS Forum is a venue for communication, discussion and creation for inventors and entrepreneurs. The Forum’s program is mainly focused on the problems and challenges facing young scientists.
Plans call for the holding of events at various levels and scales within the Forum’s framework: workshops, hackathons and lectures given by technology leaders. In addition, a whole series of cooperation agreements between business, technology companies and educational institutions are expected to be signed. Forum participants will be able to discover new formats of interaction, as well as solutions and mechanisms for the successful promotion and commercialization of youth achievements in different fields of expertise. Major Forum topics include: unmanned technologies, human capital development, neural-technologies, the Internet of Things, information technologies for the financial sector, and the smart city.
“For many years, Tomsk Region has been a strategic Gazprombank partner that quickly solves social issues, among other things — using cutting-edge mechanisms of bank financing. Our cooperation is expressed not only in the form of support and financing for various enterprises, but also in the implementation of multiple joint projects. For example, we helped build 18 kindergartens and a number of schools with the help of the PPP instrument. Gazprombank will continue to support such initiatives in the future,” said Dmitry Zauers, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, on the margins of the Forum.
