Moscow, February 20, 2020 — Forbes Woman published a rating of companies that adhere to the principles of gender equality and create as comfortable conditions as possible for their female workers. After a thorough selection by a set of metrics, 25 companies were included in the rating. Gazprombank ranked among the TOP 10 leaders and took second place among banks.
The main criteria for the identification of leaders in the rating were the male/female ratio in the company’s management, the share of women among the company’s 10% most highly-paid employees and employees receiving a promotion in 2019, as well as the company’s corporate and charitable programs intended for women.
Aside from good career opportunities, Gazprombank offers women other benefits as well: a generous social package, including supplemental medical insurance for female employees with full payment during pregnancy and labor, financial support for parents with multiple children, single parents and parents of children with disabilities, as well as the option of flexible working hours for young mothers.
“Today, Gazprombank is demonstrating its ability to change and promptly respond to external challenges. However, the main thing remains the same: we rely on people, strive to unlock their potential, create the best possible conditions for their efficient labor, and support everyone’s desire to create and yield a benefit for the Bank. Our efforts are not in vain: Gazprombank personnel are a team of like-minded, highly-motivated people, and we are storming the top positions in the Best Employer ratings with increasing frequency,” said Dmitry Zauers, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
As of year-end 2019, Gazprombank was among the TOP 3 employers in Russia according to Forbes. Previously, Gazprombank won the Randstad Award in the “Most Attractive Employer in Financial Services” nomination three years in a row.
