Moscow, August 6, 2020 — Gazprombank and the Russian Union of Youth launch a new joint project – the Gazprombank & RUY Youth Card.
The new program is intended for young people under the age of 30. All cardholders will be able to use the modern payment instrument with a Smart Cashback loyalty program (up to 10%), as well as the benefits of membership in the Russian Union of Youth International Club of Privileges, which include over 500 offers in Russia and 60,000 discounts in European countries. The card can be registered online or at any Bank office, while plans also call for the near-term launch of a service envisioning a virtual Youth Card. The card is issued for free.
The new product also makes it possible to utilize the powerful capabilities of the Gazprombank mobile application, including transactions of up to RUB 100,000 per month through the Faster Payments System and the processing of all-purpose loans — including for educational purposes, without the need to visit the office.
Gazprombank and the Russian Union of Youth are constantly expanding the range of partners for the program. The release of the new Youth Card coincides with the conclusion of a trilateral cooperation agreement with the RusLine Aviation Company, within whose framework the list of benefits for Gazprombank & RUY bank cardholders will be supplemented with the opportunity to confirm tickets for flights operated by RusLine Aviation Company at special rates from more than 35 Russian cities.
“Gazprombank fully recognizes the need for socially-responsible business conduct, and we see the development of young people’s potential as one of the priority objectives in this area. This project emerged as an extension of a joint project by the Bank and the Russian Union of Youth — the RUY Student Campus Card, which received widespread appreciation among students and turned into a good tool for the development of youth tourism. More than 60,000 cards were issued in little over a year. We are pleased to be expanding the number of project participants. The initiative of the RusLine Aviation Company will undoubtedly provide additional opportunities for young people to visit various regions across Russia,” said Natalya Tretyak, First Vice President of Gazprombank.
“The establishment of social partnership with Gazprombank and the RusLine Aviation Company marks another step towards the development of youth tourism in Russia. Thanks to the engagement of all parties, we will gather together tens of thousands of young and involved people and provide new travel opportunities for them. The next objective is to unite the representatives of small- and medium-sized businesses in Russia, give them a chance to assert themselves and showcase their products and services,” shared Pavel Krasnorutsky, Acting Chairman of the All-Russian public organization Russian Union of Youth.
“A lot of young students fly on RusLine Aviation Company flights, and we have a lot of young employees, so the idea and concept of a co-branding program with Gazprombank and the Russian Union of Youth are really relatable for us. We are grateful for the offer to join the list of loyalty program partners — and for the opportunity to make travelling more accessible and convenient for youth. I am sure that such an offer will be in extremely high demand and useful,” commented Alexander Krutov, Commercial Director of the RusLine Aviation Company.
The card can be registered on the Gazprombank website via this link.
