Moscow, August 7, 2020 — On July 24, 2020, Gazprombank and the National Union of the Travel Industry signed an agreement within the framework of strategic cooperation aimed at the implementation of priority objectives involving the development of large infrastructure projects in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation with domestic, educational and medical tourism as the main areas of development.
With the agreement, the parties expressed their readiness for long-term and mutually-beneficial cooperation in the implementation of joint projects and programs that will make it possible to increase the level of qualification, knowledge and occupational retraining of regional project participants.

The programs envisioned within the scope of the agreement with the National Union of the Travel Industry will drive development of the domestic industry, since high-quality personnel is a prerequisite for its success,” said Andrey Savchenko, Gazprombank Executive Vice President.
As Roman Petrovich Skory, President of the National Union of the Travel Industry, noted: “The signing of this agreement with Gazprombank, which is one of the leading banks in the Russian Federation, opens up opportunities for us in terms of the successful implementation of large federal projects in the territory of the Russian Federation.”
Meeting participants also noted the significance of resource consolidation for the purposes of the development and popularization of domestic tourism in Russia.
