Gazprombank Serves as a Partner of the Fintech Track of the Moscow Accelerator

Moscow, August 26, 2020 — Gazprombank became a partner of the third Moscow Accelerator track. The track is dedicated to financial technologies and sets the upscaling of process solutions for start-ups as its objective.

“Fintech has long ceased to be a business for enthusiasts only: large companies and banks are expending significant resources on new solutions in this area every year. It is an important part of the financial market in general, since fintech offers new process solutions for the industry. Gazprombank was happy to be the Accelerator’s partner. We welcome new talents in the fintech industry and we are willing to offer our experience and support to the best start-ups,” commented Sergey Mednov, Gazprombank First Vice President.

Based on the results of the Accelerator program, Gazprombank can choose projects for pilot implementation. Start-ups that have projects in the following areas are welcome to participate:

  • investment management (user services and asset management systems);
  • consumer services (lending, services on a commission basis and services for digital channels, e-commerce);
  • speech technologies (chat bots and speech bots);
  • legal tech (blockchain technologies, IT solutions to optimize the work of lawyers and generate smart contracts);
  • user identification (computer vision technologies, technologies for facial and fingerprint recognition);
  • antifraud systems and security (online payment monitoring, purchase history recording);
  • scoring and underwriting (technologies for the assessment of counteragent solvency and financial risk forecasting);
  • personalization in the sector of financial services (inventions for customer behavior analysis and recommendation engines).

The project is being implemented by the Moscow Agency of Innovations in partnership with the Moscow Innovation Cluster, with the support of the capital’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development. Applications will be accepted up to September 18.
