Moscow, October 28, 2020 — Gazprombank, jointly with the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized a seminar on retail customer credit risk management. The first event scheduled in the memorandum on cooperation was held in the videoconference format and brought together 150 participants — employees of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and commercial banks of the republic.
“The experience of communicating with representatives of the banking sector of the republic turned out to be extremely interesting. Managing credit risk in a pandemic requires a rethinking of banking and regulatory strategies. The increased demand for professional knowledge in risk management is understandable, and we are ready to help the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in solving the tasks it is facing,” noted Ekaterina Kotova, Vice President – Department Head, Retail Business Risks Department.
The experts on behalf of Gazprombank also included Irina Kryukova, Center Head, Risk Assurance and Methodology Center of the Retail Business Risks Department, and Dmitry Kurkin, Department Head, Assurance and Fraud Management Department.
