Moscow, December 4, 2020 — Gazprombank granted scholarships to the best students among those studying at fourteen institutions of higher education in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In total, scholarships were received by 41 students. The award ceremony was held online. The ceremony was opened by Natalya Tretyak, First Vice President of Gazprombank, who congratulated the scholarship recipients and gave a presentation.
She spoke about the history of Gazprombank, its new strategy and sustainable development projects — as well as about the educational, charitable and sponsorship projects in which the Bank participates, including its internship and employment program for the alumni of partner universities.
“Gazprombank productively cooperates with Russian educational organizations not only by offering bank services and solutions that enable the sustainable development of education, but also by working out such partnership projects as scholarships and educational programs that provide a long-term synergetic effect and help produce highly-qualified and involved specialists,” said Natalya Tretyak.
Gazprombank’s scholarship program was launched in 2006, and the number of scholarship recipients and participating universities has been increasing every year since. Winners are selected based on the results of a summer session, an interview, and an assessment of social and academic activities, athletic performance, and erudition.
