Moscow, December, 16, 2020 - For two years in a row Gazprombank Private Banking won the SPEAR'S Russia Wealth Management Awards in the nomination “Best Russian Bank for Private Clients.” This year Gazprombank Private Banking was recognized the most client-oriented bank for private clients. The award ceremony took place in Et Cetera Theater on December 14.
“I am very pleased that we became laureates in this particular nomination: after all, the future is behind those who offer a client-oriented, or client-centered, approach in business. The success awaits those who will be able to come to their clients with the products they really need at the exact moment when it is most relevant to them, and use a convenient channel to communicate with the customer. Digitization and Big Data are first helpers here. Over the past several years Gazprombank has done a lot in this area.
Private Banking might be a traditionally more conservative and classic segment where we know each of our clients well a priori, nevertheless, new technologies will inevitably come into our business as well. Therefore, we see our future development in the synergy between the impeccable work of our account managers and use of cutting-edge technologies. This victory is well deserved due to the hard work of the cohesive team of Gazprombank Private Banking!” said Sergey Potapeyko, Vice President and Head of the Private Banking Department.
SPEAR’S Russia Wealth Management Awards is an annual award for best representatives of the industry of private banking services, management of large capital and other related industries. The award has been founded and presented in a similar manner to the UK SPEAR’S Wealth Management Awards held by SPEAR’S UK Magazine in London. The founders of the award in Russia are PBWM Media Portal and SPEAR’S Russia Magazine. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) serves as an independent consultant.
The list of nominees for the award was formed in several stages, the most significant of which was the stage of votes being cast by industry participants. A highly reputable judge panel helped select the winners.
This year's judge panel included businessman and philanthropist Alexander Gafin, member of the Supervisory Board of Moscow Credit Bank Roman Avdeev, General Director of RUSNANO Capital Irina Rapoport, General Director and founder of Group-IB Ilya Sachkov, and publisher of SPEAR’S Russia Daria Figurkina. The judge panel was chaired by the Managing Partner of MEDIACRAT Arman Jilavyan.
