August 6, 2021, Moscow – Gazprombank (Joint Stock Company), Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Group and the Electronic Trading Platform of Gazprombank have launched the electronic portal of the Unified Gasification Operator connectgas.ru for the handling of pre-gasification applications [1]. It is currently available on desktop computers. The mobile version will be launched on September 9, 2021.
The Internet resource makes it possible to send an application [2] for the connection of private properties to gas-supply grids. The status of the application is then tracked in the Personal Account, where information is also available on the list of documents needed to conclude a contract on connecting to the grid. Here, users can get answers to their questions about accelerated connections and access the feedback form.
“The launch of the Unified Gasification Operator marks an important step in implementing the accelerated gasification program – a task we’ve been assigned by the Russian President. Already today, the electronic service has the functionality required to support the quick and convenient submission of applications from private individuals. We’re also gathering feedback for the purposes of pursuing further system improvements,” noted Sergei Gustov, General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC.
“The connectgas.ru portal has been designed to serve as the informational foundation for the efficient functioning of the Unified Gasification Operator. It is expected that Russian citizens will have a number of different methods at their disposal for the submission of gasification applications. Irrespective of the submission method, the portal will accumulate all of these applications and is aimed at becoming a reliable source of information for the Unified Gasification Operator,” emphasized Mikhail Konstantinov, Executive Vice President of Gazprombank and General Director of the ETP GPB.
[1] Pre-gasification means bringing gas to the boundaries of a given land plot in gasified population centers without charging the homeowners set up to receive the gas.
[2] The submission of an application doesn’t mean the applicant’s automatic acceptance into the pre-gasification program.
