Moscow, August 9, 2021 – Gazprombank and the Garage Museum of Modern Art are set to present the joint film program “Team Play,” encompassing five films about relationships, cooperation and mutual support. The screenings will be held at the Garage Screen summer movie theater from August 23 through September 6, with the movies shown in their original language with Russian subtitles.
The program showcases some classic American films: “The Way We Were” (1973), “Dead Poets Society” (1989), “Mo’ Better Blues” (1990), “Good Will Hunting” (1997) and “Million Dollar Baby” (2004).
Founded in 2012, the Garage Screen program introduces viewers to exceptional examples of Russian and foreign theatrical, documentary and experimental film, festival newcomers and animation.
“Gazprombank continues to support the Garage Museum’s projects, and this year, we were a partner of the Garage Screen summer season film program. Culture exerts a significant – sometimes even determinative – influence on the economy and the shaping of values and behavior, which is why supporting the modern arts and film in particular is such an important area of the Bank’s social activities,” noted Anastasia Smirnova, Vice President – Department Head, Communications and Marketing Department at Gazprombank.
