Vladivostok, September 2, 2021 – Gazprombank and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) agreed to cooperate on addressing the socioeconomic development challenges facing the region, strengthening its economic and industrial potential, and pursuing the joint implementation of investment projects featuring the use of the public-private partnership (PPP) mechanism. The agreement to that effect was signed at the Eastern Economic Forum 2021 by Alexey Belous, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Gazprombank, and Kirill Bychkov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
“Gazprombank is already cooperating with the Republic on a cultural project and the positive partnership experience that we’ve gained suggests that we should be expanding our cooperation for the implementation of ambitious new projects that the region surely needs. Gazprombank’s vast experience and expertise make it possible to structure these projects in such a way that ensures they’re as beneficial as possible for all parties involved while making it possible to elevate the socioeconomic living standards of the Republic’s residents. The parties also discussed the prospects of working together on the construction of housing within the scope of RF Federal Law No. 214,” noted Alexey Belous, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Gazprombank.
“The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) has made it a priority to address such challenges as pursuing the Republic’s socioeconomic development, strengthening its economic and industrial potential and implementing local investment programs and projects. I’m certain that Gazprombank’s wealth of experience will help the Republic achieve outstanding results, among other things – in the implementation of projects within the scope of public-private partnership involving the creation of healthcare facilities in the Republic,” said Kirill Bychkov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
